BOOM, we did it!!

We’re so excited today to tell you that we did it!

We’ve been itching to tell you but we couldn’t until our updated sign-up system went live – which it did this morning. We’re still working to improve on it all but…here we go!!

We created the ZIMBOCASH currency token with a blockchain and wallet system.

We’ve also just listed on one of the largest exchanges in the world last week. It has been a great launch.  The price more than doubled in daily trade on the first day.

It’s been a long time since we last communicated via a fireside chat – we felt that we should focus on the development of the token and launch it well. And here we are today. It’s a huge moment for us.

There are still some integration aspects that we are working on with the wallet and token. But the token is live and so is the exchange.

Many people said we couldn’t do it. We are at the start of this journey but with an actual token that is fixed in supply and an exchange price, we have made huge strides towards our goal. We want to build a decentralised currency system for everyone in Zimbabwe. We are excited to be on this journey with you.

As the country collapses in hyperinflation, with mass money printing schemes and shortages across the country, our system is pitched to work.

 

Steps to a decentralised currency system 

The secret sauce of a decentralised  currency for Zimbabwe

There are six basic ingredients to this secret sauce that we have needed to get right:

1.  We need a blockchain cryptocurrency established

We have created this on the TRON.Network using a TRC-10 token.

2.  The total amount of money needs to be fixed in supply

There are a total of 4.5 billion tokens in circulation. No more can be created by us or others.

3.  We need to have a liquid market price

We listed last week on Bithumb Global, one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world with over $4 billion in monthly trade volume. The latest price for ZASH is 0.3c each.

4.  We need to have a wallet infrastructure that appropriately allocates the ZIMBOCASH and manages the various validations

This is live and facilitating updated sign-ups. The transaction functionality on the wallet will be updated within the next few days. We will have the live market price on your wallet, so you will be able to see what your reference price is and will be able to transact with others. We are also working on two factor authentication.

5.  Network across Zimbabwe

This is where you come in. We’ve started with a pre-launch subscriber base of 30 000 people. You get more ZASH when you refer others and if you want to sell on the exchange, you need to make transactions with others and grow the network.
